ABCCOP believes:
- In the existence of one God, eternally existing in distinct but co-equal three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deut.6:4; Mat.28:19; IICor. 13:14)
- In the 66 books of the Old and New Testament as verbally and fully inspired and inerrant in the original manuscripts and is our only infallible rule in matters of faith and practice. (IITim. 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21)
- In Jesus Christ, co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father, the only Savior of mankind, virgin-born, without sin, his vicarious or substitutionary death on the cross, historical and bodily resurrection from the grave, real and bodily ascension to Heaven and his personal, visible and future return to this earth. (john 1:1; Acts 1:11; ICor. 15:1-4; Titus 2:13)
- In the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father, who indwells, empowers and transforms every believer. (Mat 28:19; John 16:13-14; John 14-16)
- In the total sinfulness of man and his need to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be saved. (Rom. 3:10-13; Eph. 2:8-9)
- In the bodily resurrection of the dead, the believer to eternal existence with God and the unbeliever to eternal damnation in hell. (Dan. 12:2; John 5:24-29)
- In the universality and unity of the Church, which is, the body of Christ, comprised of all who have been born again by the Holy Spirit having faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (John 3:35; ICor. 12:13; Eph. 4:4)
